Torch-Fired Enamels

I'm still ensconced in the rehab hospital, but beginning to have more energy to devote to artistic interests. I had DH round up some images for me from home, so that I could show some variations on torch-fired enamel.

Here's my photo of the domed ring from the Master Muse tutorial, with a matte finish.

Here's a previous version, thinner, with a riveted shank and glossy finish.

The two rings both involved etched copper plus enamel. I also played some with plain enameled copper with more enamel painted on, like in these earrings.

I'm anxious to get home and experiment more, but right now my cast qualifies as a serious fire hazard, so I guess this will have to wait a few more weeks.
