Snakeskin Beads

It's Spring Break! DH has a conference in San Francisco, so the family is headed out today to reconnect with our Bay area roots. My son was born in San Jose, so he thinks of California as "home," even though four-year-old and younger memories must be pretty vague. Fourteen years there as an adult brings back a lot of history for me personally though.

I am so looking forward to walking along the coast and hiking through the redwoods and checking up on some old haunts and friends. Camera, don't forget to pack the camera!!
