The tiles have all been wrapped onto beads. The first one was nougat, and then evidently I started feeling blue!
Here are the tiles again, for comparison.
You can see what I described about the shaping. Some are wider and thicker than others. The green parrot on tan is squashed very thin, and he appears rather wide because of it. The hummer on her nest wraps around to the back side, as does the butterfly.
Next step is to add copper. I'm off to paint on the copper base coat. I will wrap it around the bead securely, since attachment is only by entrapment -- copper won't adhere to the glass.
