Bronze Clay Bell Construction

The Summoning Bell for the Muse of Spring went together pretty easily this round -- I must be getting the hang of this!

The hardest part is getting the top section domed. It's a pretty tight curve, and requires some finessing to fit the disc over the mold. This one had some fine cracks that I hope were well repaired.

I used larger rings for the top and inside, which made those attachments seem straightforward.

Now I'm ready to remake Spring with nests in place and get going on the Summoning Bell for the Muse of Summer. Summer in Austin is almost here!

I also sanded and drilled a bunch of bracelet links to maybe continue the bronze bird link bracelet that has stalled. I hope to get the kiln running today!
