Resin Inlay Sketch

I'm working on a design for a resin inlay project. Here are the sketches for the front and back of the project. I think I'll make it just like I've been doing my glass, but then set something interesting into the window behind the bird. I have secret ideas. ;-)


I need to go check my stone collection. I want coordinating stones -- cabochons and drop or both faceted, that is a question. What color?? I simply adore the rainbow topaz I set into my Italy pendant. There was another of those cabs, I thought. I bought moonstones and peridots and some other incredible beauties at Bead and Button in June. Time to find those and see what I can come up with.
