One-of-a-kind necklaces deserve one-of-a-kind findings. The first Birdwatching necklace I assembled used an off-the-shelf toggle closure, but I knew I wanted something more fitting. One day I noticed the bird and birdhouse toggle I'd made for a workshop proposal on clasp design. All this time it was right in front of me.
