Resin Sterling Clay Earrings

To get the beautiful aqua color, I mixed a tiny bit of alcohol ink with the Ice resin. Then I added moss agate drops.

To demonstrate the intriguing aspect of the bubble problem during firing, the backs are horribly pocked on the textured backs of the domes, but hardly marked on the smooth windows. Fascinating, no? I know the common suggestions are overheating from kiln temperature spikes, but the localization doesn't seem very consistent with that.
