I've finally started constructing the Summoning Bell for the Muse of Spring, using the new PPPs I made several weeks ago:
Of course, as I was cutting them out, I couldn't help but wonder where my mind was when I modified the PPP. I put in two birds to represent pairing, and I added dots all over the tree branches to represent buds, but I completely forgot the bird nests. Now I'm going to have to make another one!
Both discs get domed, then joined to form the bell. I add half rings inside and out for attachments. I've been revising my thinking on the clapper, which was cross-shaped before. I want to incorporate glass somehow, and glass clappers or beads hanging from the clappers seem the way to go.
